ISI Fit is the result of IMECO's and Ecostream's combined technological development ideas to integrate industrial roofs and photovoltaic systems.
ISI Fit is an industrial solution composed by a patented preformed metal plate, optimized to hold both crystalline silicon and CdTe photovoltaic modules, in order to guarantee ideal conditions for electrical connection and total architectural integration of photovoltaic systems.
ISI Fit has applications both in new built houses and roof replacement (for instance after removing asbestos).

SAFETY AND PERFORMANCES
ISI Fit simplifies design and lay down procedures of photovoltaic systems, assuring safety and high insulation performances.

ISI Fit also shortens lay down times: 20 kW lay down per day/worker is achievable.

The quality of crystalline photovoltaic modules is guaranteed by the partnership with EC0STREAM, "turnkey supplier" of solar systems with more than 4.000 systems realized and more than 100.000 KW installed in Europe.
The high reliability of this metal covering system, designed and developed by IMECO, completes technological know-how assets, giving a remarkable extension to the guarantee of a product created to last.


WHY THE BUILDING INTEGRATION?

The more a photovoltaic system in architecturally integrated in a building, the more the feed-in tariff is high. Plus, Italian Conto Energia (Ministerial decree regulating the incentives' systems) foresees an additional 5% increase of the tariff when the photovoltaic system replaces roofs made of asbestos. This is significant - particularly if you consider the high number of industrial asbestos roofs in Italy. Furthermore total costs decrease by eliminating modules' supporting structures.
ISI Fit high level of integration demonstrates that photovoltaic technology can be integrated in a way that is sympathetic tothe urban environment it occupies, without changing the esthetic harmony and equilibrium of the surroundings.
